Table Talk is a four-place ceramic table setting that draws on conversations with my research participants about their hopes, dreams, and aspirations. The installation uses the familiar space of the dining table as a site of exchange, reflection, and empowerment. Inspired by the feminist legacy of Judy Chicago's The Dinner Party, the work celebrates women's agency through the stories, ambitions, and voices of the individuals represented. It focuses on personal narratives and the power of everyday dialogue.

As a researcher, I told stories through writing. As a ceramic artist, I wanted to imagine another way those stories might be shared.
I began to imagine these women gathered around a table.
Not as interview subjects.
Not as data.
But as women in conversation with one another.
Each plate and bowl carries a short quotation from one of the women whose words stayed with me long after the formal interviews ended.
