Vase | Wood Fired Rose Vase

$85.00

This wheel-thrown vase was wood-fired to achieve its organic, one-of-a-kind surface. A delicate rose detail is accented with 22k gold luster, adding a luminous touch of refinement. The interior is lined with a soft yellow glaze, while the exterior is left unglazed, allowing the natural effects of the firing process to shine through. During the firing, wood ash settles on the surface, melting into a natural glaze that creates rich textures and earthy tones. Because the atmosphere of the kiln varies depending on placement—whether high or low, near the fire or tucked away—each piece emerges with its own distinct character. No two are ever alike, making this vase a truly singular work of art.

FEATURES*:

  • Measures 6.5” H x 4.5” W approximately

  • Glazes are non-toxic, and lead-free

  • Hand wash to prolong life of the luster

  • Bottom is sanded smooth so it does not scratch furniture

This piece is wheel thrown and twice fired. As expected, handmade pieces can have small slopes, grooves, and imperfections. That’s how you know it’s a hand crafted original and not a factory-made replica.

Note:

* All sizes are approximations.

* Photos are as close as possible to the accurate representation of the item’s actual color. However, due to varying screen and device settings, your item may appear slightly different in person.
