These beautiful cups are wheel thrown, wood fired, and truly unique. They feature hand carved dandelions inlaid with black underglaze. They are lined with a soft yellow glaze on the inside and are unglazed on the outside. The colors on wood fired pieces can vary depending on where they are placed in the kiln (high or low, close to the fire or away from it, and what’s next to them). Wood ash is deposited in the firing and creates a glaze of its own. No two pieces come out looking alike.
