These beautiful creamers are wheel thrown and wood fired. They feature hand painted slip trailed dandelions and flowers in black and white. They are lined with a soft glazes on the inside and left unglazed on the outside. Wood ash is deposited in the firing and creates a glaze of its own. The colors on wood fired pieces can vary depending on where they are placed in the kiln (high or low, close to the fire or away from it, and what’s next to them). No two pieces come out looking alike.
